Here is what worked on mine: 1. turned off the car. 2. disconnected "-" battery terminal. 3. connected the terminal back on. 4. started the ignition. 5. drove in the straight line for about 100 m. 6. remember no reverse just "d" and drive in a straight line.

If I hit the rear diff switch the REAR DIFF light goes out and then ABS and SLIP come on. I can hear the 4wd engage both high and low when I turn it on with my door open.

After months of driving with no lights on, this morning the ABS, BRAKE, VDC, and SLIP lights all came back on. Of course, it's due for the yearly inspection this month and I'm not sure it will pass in Texas with those four lights on.Any time the battery is disconnected and reconnected, VDC off and SLIP light come on until the steering angle sensor is reset, either by centering the wheel and recalibrating it with the Consult-II system, or by starting the truck with the wheel centered and driving above 10mph for over 10 minutes.Then sputters and generally runs horribly.
