Pruning started in January and it takes 12 people two and a half months to prune the vineyard working six days a week. I learned that Ste. Genevieve sells some of the grapes they grow to other Texas wineries. The winery was the first to open in Ste. Genevieve County back in 1983 and is operated by the Hoffmeister family.
