Cumberland Fell Runners. Friendly fell running club for 6 to 106 year olds!The Junior British Inter-Counties Hill and Fell Championships are organised by the Fell Runners Association (FRA) on behalf of the UK Counties Athletics Union. The 2024 Junior British Inter-Counties Hill & Fell Championships will be hosted by Rossendale Harriers on Sunday 9th June 2024. Sinfin Running Club has a thriving fell running community. Members participate in fell racing as well as meeting socially to run on the Derbyshire Peak District fells. The club recognises the Fell Runners Association as the governing body and advises its members to follow best practice in respect to kit and safety. So a completely new committee was elected, with the main officers being Bernard Hillon (Chairman), Mike Wood (Treasurer), and Harry Jarrett (Secretary). It was obvious that the club should have a new name, so for simplicity it was decided to drop the word "Association" from "C.F.R.A.", leaving "Cumberland Fell Runners".
